Heard around the dinner table the other night as we got bowls out for ice cream.
DD2: "We need four bowls for four people."
Mommy: "Oops, count again DD2. Point to each person when you say the number. Start with Mommy."
DD2:
(points to Mommy) "One."
(points to DD1) "Two."
(points to DS1) "Three."
(points to Daddy) "Four."
Mommy: "And who's in the kitchen?"
DD2: "DS2!"
Mommy: "That's five. And what about you?"
DD2: "Seven!"
Mommy: "And you're six."
DD2: "No! I'm Three!!"
***facepalm***
