I knew the DD1, DS2 nicknames were unwieldy, but I didn't realize HOW bad it was until I read this post! Ooops. Here is the same story, made more legible (I hope) by the use of the new nicknames.
Heard around the dinner table the other night as we got bowls out for ice cream.
Princess: "We need four bowls for four people."
Mommy: "Oops, count again Princess. Point to each person when you say the number. Start with Mommy."
Princess:
(points to Mommy) "One."
(points to Giggles) "Two."
(points to Stringz) "Three."
(points to Daddy) "Four."
Mommy: "And who's in the kitchen?"
Princess: "Bob!"
Mommy: "That's five. And what about you?"
Princess (excitedly): "Seven!"
Mommy: "And you're six."
Princess (indignantly): "No! I'm Three!!"
***facepalm***
