Chaos Reigns

My coworker, ResidentBuildGuy, has a theory about my life. Since starting to work with RBG, I have had a couple of different streaks of very bad and very expensive luck. Streaks where one thing goes wrong, then another a couple days later, then another, the next thing you know you are feeling like the world is out to get you and nothing will ever go right again. RBG says that it's my fault, that I am inviting chaos into my life, and that is why I have chaos. I usually just shake my head and tell myself he just doesn’t understand. But lately, I begin to wonder if he might have a point.

Meet Wolfgang:


Wolfgang is an 8 week old Bernese Mountain Dog mix. And I adopted him last night. I have known for several months that I wanted a BMD for my next dog. I did the research and the BMD has the right temperament and personality for our lifestyle. Unfortunately, there are not very many in my area of the country, at least not in rescue. So even though we were not officially looking for a second dog just yet, when Wolfgang showed up on Petfinder, I had to get him. There were actually two Berner mixes offered by our local rescue, but it was no contest. I fell in love with Wolfgang’s picture the second I saw him, and the other, Berner, while very cute, simply could not hold a candle to Wolfie.

The kids, of course, are thrilled.








We went through dozens of names before settling on Wolfgang. But it just fits.
